Seth Meyers to host the Golden Globe Awards show

Nov. 23 (UPI) — Late Night with Seth Meyers host and Saturday Evening Live alum Seth Meyers has been tapped to emcee the Golden Globe Awards honoring excellence in movie and tv.

“The Hollywood Overseas Press Association is happy to have Seth Meyers host the Seventy Fifth annual Golden Globe Awards,” HFPA President Meher Tatna mentioned in a observation Thursday. “Along With His natural comedic wit and innate skill to attraction audiences, Seth will lend a hand us elevate on the celebratory custom of recognizing the perfect in television and movie at the birthday party of the year.”

The ceremony is to happen Jan. 7 in Beverly Hills and will air on NBC. Nominations are to be announced Dec. 11.

Earlier Globes hosts embody Meyers’ fellow SNL veterans Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon.
