Ryan Reynolds joins cast of ‘Pokemon’ film ‘Detective Pikachu’

Dec. 7 (UPI) — Ryan Reynolds has been forged in the upcoming live-motion Pokemon movie, Detective Pikachu.

Reynolds has been tapped to play the titular persona who acts as the prime mascot of the Pokemon brand, referred to The Hollywood Reporter who noted sources that mentioned the function will make the most of movement capture.

The actor joins a forged that features Justice Smith (The Get Down) and Kathryn Newton (Large Little Lies).
