Leonardo DiCaprio to star in Quentin Tarantino’s ninth movie

Jan. 13 (UPI) — Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has signed on to superstar in creator-director Quentin Tarantino‘s ninth film.

The pair in the past collaborated on 2012’s Django Unchained.

Cut-off Date.com stated DiCaprio will play an growing older actor in Tarantino’s as-but-untitled movie, which is set in los angeles throughout the summer time of 1969 when the Manson Family murders occurred.

Variety said DiCaprio had been in negotiations for months about joining the challenge.

Sony is scheduled to release the film on Aug. 9, 2019, which might coincide with the 50th anniversary of the slayings of nine people, including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, at the hands of Charles Manson‘s followers.
